Increase WordPress Productivity using Firefox Keyboard Shortcuts

Using keyboard shortcuts is a great way to save time as many WordPress users can spend up to hundreds of hours per month using Mozilla Firefox to manage our WordPress powered blogs.

Keyboard shortcuts are a great way to improve our productivity and time management when managing our blogs. How many of us constantly jump or move your hand from keyboard to mouse and back again? It’s fine if you are doing a single task however what if you are doing a repetitive task like surfing the web, filling out forms, typing in new website URL’s into the address bar. You can see my point, you are maybe spending 1/4 of your time jumping from keyboard to mouse and back again.

Address Bar Keyboard Shortcuts

[highlight1]ctrl[/highlight1] + [highlight1]enter[/highlight1] Completes a .com address. Adds the http:// prefix and .com suffix to the URL
[highlight1]shift[/highlight1] + [highlight1]enter[/highlight1] Completes a .net address. Adds the http:// prefix and .net suffix to the URL
[highlight1]ctrl[/highlight1] + [highlight1]shift[/highlight1] + [highlight1]enter[/highlight1] Completes a .org address. Adds the http:// prefix and .org suffix to the URL

Bookmarks
